Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer with the FYAO!

The Florida Young Artists Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with many opportunities for parents to get involved.  We’ve undergone significant positive changes during this season in the hope of improving the experience that we offer each student, and these changes create new opportunities to help.

Our parent volunteers are an vital part of our future. Because of the limited rehearsal time each week and the numerous tasks needed to help each group run well, parent involvement is a key part of our success.

The list below contains some of the current needs.  If you would like to volunteer with the items listed below or would like to suggest an activity where your skills could be useful, please contact a FYAO board member or the Executive Director.  But remember this:  You don’t need any special skills, musical or otherwise, to help the FYAO.  All you need is a willingness to step forward and let us know you want to volunteer.  Contact the FYAO office at (407) 257-8886 or fyao@fyao.org for more information.
