Welcome from the Executive Director!

FYAO Executive Director, Teresa Borker

Hi, everyone! I’m Teresa Borker, the FYAO Executive Director. First, a little information about me. For years, I have been involved in the Central Florida arts community, having produced international cultural events and worked part-time in entertainment for Walt Disney World.  This is my second season with the FYAO, and I am excited to be involved with this wonderful organization. As Executive Director, I work with the Artistic and Operations Staff, Volunteers and Board to make sure everything runs smoothly. I look forward to meeting every one of you at the Classical Jam – please stop by and say hello!

I will be happy to answer any and all questions you may have regarding registration, tuition, schedule, volunteering, and anything else. We will also have our Board Members on hand at the Classical Jam to assist you – feel free to ask them your questions. We strive to be the best youth orchestra we can be, and I believe we have the right combination of Artistic Staff and volunteers (including Board Members!) to accomplish that goal.
